Despite Clint's denial and assertion that he's fine, he heads up the stairs at a slower pace than normal, even if he can wave it off as deferring to her shorter stride if asked about it. He does go up a couple of flights, too, before he stops at a door to carefully pull it open - and, when he doesn't get jumped, opens it the rest of the way and holds it for her. "Let's see what we can find," he says quietly, wary of his voice carrying in the stairwell.
